What’s Middle School Mayhem?
The Colorado High School Cycling League has built an exciting, fun, and challenging mountain biking course exclusively for middle school athletes! This timed event features a shorter, modified course that’s ideal for new and seasoned athletes.

Who is eligible?
7th and 8th graders enrolled in a Colorado, Wyoming, South Dakota, and New Mexico middle school, or affiliated with a Colorado League team, are eligible for the Middle School Mayhem races.
Athletes can choose a single race, though they are eligible to race in all four middle school races if they choose.
Where and when are the races?
Middle School Mayhem races will take place during Race 2 (9/12) and race 3 (9/26) of the 2026 race schedule, in Eagle, Colorado.
The Middle School Mayhem races will take place as the first event of the day, both Saturday and Sunday.
All races will feature their own dedicated podium event after the races.
