About Cloud City Challenge
Set at 10,152 feet above sea level, the Cloud City Challenge is a true high-altitude test of fitness and grit. Riders tackle a clockwise racecourse featuring technical climbs and fast descents through the Timberline Trail System at Colorado Mountain College Leadville. Trails include Upper Deck, Wheeler's Way, Golddigger, Cold Feet, Old Chub, and Boulders.
Registration deadline is August 24, 2026 at 12pm MDT.

Peaks 'n Pitas will provide a variety of breakfast and lunch items on Saturday and Sunday from 7:30 AM - 3:00 PM.
Feed Zone will be stocked with Honey Stinger.

- EMS will not be available after 5:30 PM on Friday and Saturday.
- E-Bikes are permitted.
- If you are not a registered coach or rider with a number plate, we encourage you to explore other trails in the area.

- No RVs or generators are allowed in a team’s pit zone.

- If grills are onsite and in a team’s pit zone, then a fire extinguisher with current tags must be present.
- Team pit zone must follow the canopy weight guidelines. Be prepared prior to arriving at the venue.
Parking & Drop Off
Parking is extremely limited at the race venue. Please arrive early if you want to park close. Parking is first come first served. There are designated handicap spots close to the start/finish area.
Off-site parking is available at Dutch Henry, and there are walk/bike paths to and from the venue.
No parking is allowed on CR41, in front of any business, or residences. If a vehicle is parked illegally, it will be towed at the owner’s expense.
Please obey signs and directions from parking staff and volunteers.
People and equipment may be dropped off at the race venue prior to parking your vehicle.

About Frisco Bay Invitational
The Frisco Bay Invitational racecourse is peppered with short punchy climbs and descents. It includes a mix of singletrack, doubletrack, and dirt roads. Running counterclockwise, the racecourse starts and finishes at the Frisco Nordic Center. Trails include Excelsior, Crown Point Rd., Tip Top Trail, Crossover, Jody’s Loop, Treasure Vault, Switchback, Queen of the West, and Phat Loop.
Registration deadline is August 24, 2026 at 12pm MDT.
Food & Support
Mountain Melt will provide a variety of breakfast and lunch items on Saturday and Sunday from 7:30 AM - 3:00 PM.

Off-site parking is available at the Summit County Medical Office Building, DMV, and Library. All locations have walk/bike paths to and from the venue.
Parking is NOT allowed in these lots on Friday, August 28th.
Off-site parking is also available at Summit Middle School. There is a 1.8 mile walk/bike path to the race venue from Summit Middle School, which should take about 10 minutes by bike. The Summit Stage is a free shuttle service available to those who park at Summit Middle School.
Parking is NOT allowed at Summit Middle School on Friday, August 28th.
Please refrain from parking in front of any businesses or residences. You will be towed. Please obey signs and directions from parking staff and volunteers.
People and equipment may be dropped off at the race venue prior to parking your vehicle.

About Showdown in the Boat
Race #2 heads to Steamboat Springs for the Showdown in the Boat at Howelsen Ski Area. This scenic racecourse travels through the Emerald Mountain Trail Network and includes a mix of singletrack, doubletrack, and dirt roads. Running clockwise, the course starts behind Olympian Hall and finishes at the Howelsen Hill base area. Trails include Bluffs Loop, Connector Trail, Howelsen Meadows, Ricky's Ridge, Lupine Trail, Blackmere Rd., Orton Trail, NPR, and Mile Run.
Registration deadline is September 7, 2026 at 12pm MDT.

GEARVANA will take place at the Eagle River Center located at the Eagle County Fairgrounds on September 26th from 9am to 5pm and September 27th from 10am to 3pm. About Spring Valley Scramble
Race #3 takes place on the CMC Spring Valley Campus outside Glenwood Springs. The clockwise course starts on grass, climbs doubletrack before merging onto Dreamer, a thrilling singletrack. Riders continue onto Slacker, Swoop's Loop, and the East Ridge Loop before finishing back on the CMC Spring Valley Campus.

About Chalk Creek Stampede
Race #4 heads to the base of Mount Princeton at the McMurry Ranch - a private working cattle ranch. The 6.7-mile counterclockwise course features a doubletrack climb, singletrack plateau, rocky technical descent to Chalk Creek, aspen and cottonwood singletrack, and a fast doubletrack return.
The McMurry Ranch is private property. No pre-rides are permitted prior to race weekend. Following each race day, everyone must be off the McMurry Ranch property by 6:30pm.
Registration deadline is October 5, 2026 at 12pm MDT.

Scratch Kitchen will provide a variety of breakfast and lunch items on Saturday and Sunday from 7:30 AM - 3:00 PM.

Pre-Ride Protocol
- The McMurry Ranch is private property. No pre-rides are permitted prior to race weekend.
- Everyone must be off the McMurry Ranch race venue property by 6:30 PM.
- Absolutely NO warm-up is allowed on CR 162 / Chalk Creek Rd. A warm-up area is available on-site.
- Pre-ride is for registered coaches and athletes only.
- All coaches and athletes must have a number plate on their bike during pre-ride.
- Family and friends may pre-ride the course after 5:30 pm on Friday and/or Saturday.
- EMS will not be available after 5:30 pm on Friday and Saturday.
- E-Bikes are permitted.
- If you are not a registered coach or rider with a number plate, we encourage you to explore other trails in the area.

Team Pit Zone Guidelines
- Team Pit Zone opens at 2:00 PM each day.
- No RVs or generators are allowed in a team’s pit zone.
- Do not move team signs or adjust the amount of space allotted by the Pit Zone Manager.
- If grills are onsite and in a team’s pit zone, then a fire extinguisher with current tags must be present.
- Canopy Weight Guidelines. Be prepared prior to arriving at the venue.
- Everyone must leave the private property by 6:30pm.
- Recommend teams bring a rake to clear their assigned team pit area.
Parking & Drop Off
Parking is available at the race venue. Please refer to the Venue Map for parking locations. Parking is first come first served. There are designated handicap spots near the start/finish area.
If a vehicle is parked illegally, it will be towed at the owner’s expense.
Please obey signs and directions from parking staff and volunteers.
People and equipment may be dropped off at the race venue prior to parking your vehicle.

About Royal Gorge Rumble
Race #4 is at the Royal Gorge Ranch & Resort — known as Buckskin Joe — for the Royal Gorge Rumble. The clockwise course cuts through a stunning piñon forest on a mix of doubletrack and technical singletrack near the iconic Royal Gorge. Be sure to top off tire sealant as the terrain contains goat heads, cholla, prickly pear, and barrel cactus.
Registration deadline is October 5, 2026 at 12pm MDT.
Food & Support
Peaks 'n Pitas will provide a variety of breakfast and lunch items on Saturday and Sunday from 7:30 AM - 3:00 PM.
Feed Zone will be stocked with Honey Stinger.
Mike's Bikes will provide neutral support.

Volunteer
The Colorado League runs on the spirit and energy of our community. Each race weekend there are volunteer spots to fill. You can be a part of the race experience and there is no experience needed for any volunteer position. All you need is a willing heart and a smile! Please do not bring your pet to your volunteer shift.
Permitted Pre-Ride
A permitted pre-ride is scheduled for Saturday, August 22nd from 8:00am - 11:00am. Coaches please RSVP for your team.
Coach Meeting
A mandatory coach meeting is held at 7:45 AM on Saturday and Sunday. Each team must have one (1) representative present. Information about the race day, risk management, course conditions, and other considerations are discussed.

About State Championship
The pinnacle of the Colorado High School Cycling season returns to CMC Spring Valley Campus. Saturday features Freshman and JV categories; Sunday brings Sophomores, Varsity, and the beloved Coach Race.
Registration closes October 19th and is NOT included in the Series Pass. Qualification is required.
